Luxembourg MEP Fernand Kartheiser voted against an EU resolution supporting Ukraine in his first week in the bloc’s parliament in defiance of the far-right political grouping with which he sits.
Kartheiser won the first-ever European Parliament seat for the ADR party in June’s elections, and days later announced he would sit in the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) grouping.
