Taufkirchen, 4 July 2024 – Sensor specialist HENSOLDT is providing massive support for the German ‘European Sky Shield Initiative’ ESSI: As part of an order from Diehl Defence worth more than 100 million euros, HENSOLDT is supplying its high-performance TRML-4D radars, including a maintenance and training package, to Latvia and Slovenia. The radars will be deployed in the two ESSI countries as part of the IRIS-T SLM air defence system.
