Farmers take agriculture and housing
The BBB, a populist farmer-and-rural issue party coasting on the protest vote, landed two ministries — agriculture (unsurprisingly) and housing.
Femke Wiersma, who currently oversees agricultural policy in the northern province of Friesland, will take over the first post. Wiersma took part in Boer Zoekt Vrouw, the Dutch version of Farmer Wants a Wife.
