Danish minister for global climate change Dan Jørgensen (S) is the favorite to be nominated to become Denmark’s new EU Commissioner. But if that happens, he may find it difficult to get an important position such as Climate Commissioner.
Senior analyst Jacob Kirkegaard at the think tank German Marshall Fund predicts that larger countries and other candidates with better résumés will be at the front of the queue.
