Members of the European Parliament Riho Terras (Isamaa) and Jana Toom (Center) expressed their desire to join the Agriculture Committee (AGRI) but were unable to secure a spot during the allocation of committee positions. Toom is concerned that the underrepresentation of Eastern Europeans on the AGRI committee could hinder efforts to make the European Union’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) more equitable.
