The Lithuanian Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed that the country is prepared for the Entry/Exit System (EES) launch.
The EES launch date has been set for November 10, 2024, and according to the Ministry, Lithuania has already fulfilled all the technical requirements and is currently undergoing the testing procedure of the system.
This means that the country is ready to launch the system three months from now and does not expect to encounter any problems, Schengen.News reports.
